Economic data & methodology

What the display’s numbers mean and where estimates have limits.

Personal displays use Korean CPI

Estimated purchasing power uses the registered funds, registration date and South Korea’s CPI. Changing the displayed currency does not convert money or apply that country’s CPI.

Second-by-second changes are estimates

The app uses logarithmic interpolation between Korean CPI month-end reference points. After the last observation, it assumes the latest year-over-year rate continues, for at most 90 days after the latest observation and within the calculation policy’s review deadline. Check the app’s methodology for the exact scope and end date.

Updates and offline use

The app checks for Korean CPI updates when activated. New data can change calculations; failed updates use valid cached data or Korean baseline data. Indicators are not guaranteed to update together or always provide the latest data.

Data by country

Global economic data browsing is separate from personal display settings. Check available periods, units, missing data and forecast status. Missing country data is not silently replaced with another country’s data.

Money supply, national debt and investment assumptions

Money-supply and national-debt screens use published data and assumptions. Investment calculations simulate the rate of return you assume; they do not execute investments or guarantee returns.

Check the sources

The app’s economic data and methodology screen provides source links, reference periods, status and assumptions for each dataset. Screen animation does not mean new official statistics are published every second.
