DONNOK SUPPORT

Frequently asked questions

Answers about getting started, storing fund records, widgets and economic data.

Where can I download DONNOK?

Download DONNOK on the App Store or Google Play for free. It supports iPhone with iOS 16.4 or later, iPad with iPadOS 16.4 or later, and Android, with in-app purchases.

Do I need an account or bank connection?

No. You enter funds yourself. The app does not retrieve real bank balances or transfer money.

Does a lower display value reduce my actual balance?

No. The display shows estimated purchasing power based on economic data and assumptions. It is separate from actual transactions and account balances.

Does changing currency apply that country’s inflation?

Personal displays use South Korea’s CPI. Currency categories do not mean conversion or automatic use of another country’s inflation. Browsing global economic data does not change your funds’ calculation basis.

Can I use the app offline?

The app can calculate with locally stored funds and available economic data. Checking new data, ads and store purchases or restoration may require internet access. Failed updates fall back to valid cached data or Korean baseline data.

Can new economic data change the numbers?

The app checks for Korean CPI updates when activated. New data can change a calculation even for the same point in time. Moving numbers do not mean live statistics are arriving. Check reference periods in the app’s economic data and methodology screen.

Will my funds be restored on a new device?

Cloud backup and fund synchronization across devices are not provided. Restoring an ad-removal purchase and restoring fund data are different operations.

Why does the widget differ from the app?

The operating system decides widget update timing. Save your widget settings in the app, request a refresh and check again. See the user guide for details.
